Instructions

Preheat the grill to a suitable temperature. Place the rolls (cut sides up) on it and toast them for a couple of minutes. Keep the rolls aside.

Heat a little oil in a pan over medium heat. Cook sausage in it until it is slightly browned. Remove the sausage from the pan and keep it aside.

Add a little oil in the pan. Add onions and bell peppers and saute until they become tender. Now add the garlic and the sausage.

Reduce the heat and continue to cook for a few more minutes.

In a bowl, mix the egg whites and the eggs and pour the mixture into the peppers and onions.

Use a spatula to gently scramble the eggs into the peppers and onions.

Stop cooking the eggs when they start to glisten and are moist. Transfer 2/3 cup of this mixture into each roll and serve hot.
