Ingredients for serving

  • 39 g Oats 0.25 x cup (156g)
  • 33 g Egg, whole, raw, fresh 0.75 x medium (44g)
  • 5.3 g Honey 0.25 x tbsp (21g)
  • 55.8 g Apples, raw, with skin 0.25 x large (3-1/4" dia) (223g)
  • 27 g Lemons, raw, with peel 0.25 x fruit without seeds (108g)
  • 12.5 g Soy protein, neutral flavor 0.5 x scoop (25g)
  • 0.3 g Leavening agents, baking soda 0.13 x tsp (2.3g)
  • 0.5 g Salt, table 0.06 x tsp (6g)
  • 14 g Water 0.06 x 1 cup (224g)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven on 400F (200C)
  • Grind the oats until powder with a kitchen machine or blender
  • Zest the peel of the lemon and add to the oats
  • Add soy protein, baking soda, salt and mix
  • In another bowl crack the eggs, add the honey, water and lemon juice from 1 lemon
  • Mash the apple in your kitchen machine or blender and at to the bowl
  • Mix thoroughly
  • Add the liquids to the oats mixture and mix again
  • Spray in a cake batter with anti sticking spray and fill with the mixture
  • Leave in the oven for about 40 minutes (keep an eye on it, some ovens are more powerful than others ;)
  • Wait till it cold and serve!
