Instructions
Into a small bowl, combine vinegar and onion. Keep it aside for at least an hour to pickle.
Heat a little oil in a skillet over medium-heat. Fry capers until they are crisp and have opened slightly. Drain excess oil from capers using paper towels.
Spread the toasts with crème Fraiche and season them with salt and pepper.
Provide toppings for each toast with smoked salmon, fried capers, drained pickled red onion and chives. Add a little oil over it.
Serve immediately.
