Shrimp with Fennel and Red Onion

Ingredients for serving

  • 0.3 g Spices, pepper, black 0.06 x tsp (2.1g)
  • 58.5 g Fennel, bulb, raw 0.25 x bulb (234g)
  • 0.8 g Salt, table 0.13 x tsp (6g)
  • 2.5 g Lemon juice, raw
  • 6.5 g Oil, olive, salad or cooking 0.5 x tablespoon (13.5g)
  • 2.3 g Parsley, fresh 0.75 x tbsp (3.8g)
  • 112.5 g Crustaceans, shrimp, untreated, ..
  • 75 g Onion, red, raw
  • 0.5 g Lemon rind, grated 0.25 x tsp (2.0g)

Instructions

  • After trimming out the fennel’s outer leaves, discard stalks.
  • Now cut the bulbs vertically whilst eliminating core. Cut each half of these bulbs crosswise so that thin slices of ¼-inch are formed.
  • Now place a skillet over medium heat and gently heat some oil in it. Then add onion and fennel into it and cook for a few minutes or until it gets browned slightly.
  • Then reduce the heat and add shrimps along with all the other ingredients.
  • Stir the above ingredients slowly so that they are uniformly heated.
  • Serve hot.
