Sesame-Orange Chicken

Ingredients for serving

  • 0 g Salt, table 0.25 x dash (0g)
  • 0.3 g Spices, pepper, red or cayenne 0.25 x tsp (1g)
  • 2.5 g Sesame Seeds, Toasted 0.5 x 1 tbsp (5g)
  • 1.3 g Plain Butter 0.13 x slice (10g)
  • 112 g Skinless Boneless Chicken Breast 1 x 4 Oz (112g)
  • 3.8 g Orange Zest 0.25 x piece (15g)
  • 0.8 g Cream, whipped, cream topping, .. 0.25 x tbsp (3g)
  • 74.5 g CAMPBELL'S Low Sodium Soups, .. 0.25 x serving 1 container (298g)
  • 2 g Oil, canola 0.5 x tsp (4g)
  • 12.5 g Orange, fruit, raw, juice 0.13 x 100 ml (100g)

Instructions

  • Add sesame seeds, orange zest, salt and red pepper in a blender and process till you get a mixture that closely resembles coarse meal.
  • Place the chicken breast between 2 plastic sheets and pound it using a rolling pin till you get ΒΌ-inch meat. Now sprinkle a little salt over the pounded chicken.
  • Heat canola oil and butter in a pan over medium heat until butter melts. Add chicken and cook both the sides until it is sufficiently done. Remove the chicken from pan and keep it warm.
  • Add sesame mixture to pan and stir well. Now add chicken broth and bring the mixture to a boil. Cook the mixture until it is reduced to 2/3 cup.
  • Add whipped cream and orange juice to the reduced sesame mixture and cook for a few seconds. Serve the sauce with chicken.
