Ingredients for serving

  • 5.9 g Salsa 0.03 x cup (236g)
  • 75 g Baguette, brown 0.25 x whole (300g)
  • 2 g Oil, olive, salad or cooking 0.5 x tsp (4g)
  • 21.1 g Beans, pinto, mature seeds, .. 0.13 x cup (169g)
  • 7.2 g Onions, raw 0.06 x cup, sliced (115g)
  • 1.1 g Ground cumin 0.08 x tbsp (15g)

Instructions

  • Heat a little oil in a pan over medium heat.
  • Mix salt and cumin in a bowl and sprinkle evenly over pork. Add pork to the pan and cook for a couple of minutes on both sides. Keep it aside for a few minutes and then cut it into thin slices.
  • Hollow out the bottom and top halves of bread, making sure to leave ¾-inch thick shell. Reserve the remaining portion of bread for another use.
  • Now arrange the cut portion of bread, cut sides up, on a baking tray. Bake the bread until it is golden brown.
  • In a bowl, add salsa and beans. Smash them until you get a smooth mixture. Spoon out the mixture into the bottom half of baguette. Then top it with cheese, pork, avocado, jalapeno, tomato, onion and top half of baguette. Cut into 4 piece and serve hot.
