Pork Sate with Peanut-Mirin Sauce

  • 0.1 g Spices, coriander seed 0.06 x tsp (1g)
  • 1 g Lemon rind, grated 0.5 x tsp (2g)
  • 4.5 g Garlic, raw 0.5 x cloves (9g)
  • 4 g Sugars, granulated 1 x tsp (4g)
  • 5 g Coriander (cilantro) leaves, raw 0.25 x sprigs (20g)

  • 2.3 g Sauce, fish, ready-to-serve 0.13 x tbsp (18g)
  • 0.5 g Spices, curry powder 0.25 x tsp (2g)
  • 7.5 g Lemon juice, raw 0.25 x fl oz (30g)

Instructions

  • Prepare the grill to medium heat.
  • In a medium bowl, mix lemon juice, lemon rind, sugar, peanut butter, fish sauce, salt, curry powder, coriander and garlic cloves. Stir the ingredients until you get a smooth mixture.
  • Now add pork to the mixture and toss for uniform coating. Keep it aside for a few minutes.
  • To prepare sauce, take another bowl and mix 1 ½ tbsp sugar, rice vinegar, cilantro, lime juice, Mirin sauce fish sauce, and Serrano pepper. Now add roasted peanuts and stir well.
  • Take skewers and thread pork pieces uniformly. Then place the skewers on the heated grill that is lightly coated with cooking spray. Grill both the sides for a few minutes. Serve hot with sauce.
