Ham and Pineapple Lunch

Ingredients for serving

  • 7.3 g Cornstarch
  • 7.3 g Plain Butter
  • 2.5 g Mustard, prepared, yellow 0.5 x tsp or 1 packet (5g)
  • 5 g Vinegar, cider 1 x tsp (5g)
  • 87 g Pork, cured, ham, low sodium, ..
  • 7 g Brown Sugar 0.5 x tbsp (14.3g)
  • 79.8 g Pineapple juice 0.33 x cup (240g)
  • 41.3 g Pineapple, raw, traditional .. 0.25 x cup, chunks (165g)
  • 7.5 g Onions, young green, tops only

Instructions

  • After keeping a large skillet over medium heat, melt some butter in it.
  • Then sauté pineapple chunks, onions and the ham in it for a few minutes.
  • Take a separate bowl. Add cornstarch, mustard, brown sugar, vinegar and pineapple juice into it.
  • Stir all the above ingredients and pour it over the ham mixture.
  • Continue stirring and allow the heat to thicken the mixture.
  • Serve hot
