Fresh Tuna Tartare On Crackers

Ingredients for serving

  • 85 g Fish, tuna, fresh, bluefin, raw 1 x oz (85g)
  • 5 g Wasabi paste 1 x tsp (5g)
  • 1.2 g Sauce, ready-to-serve, pepper, .. 1 x tsp (1.2g)
  • 6 g Soy sauce made from soy (tamari) 1 x tsp (6g)
  • 2 g Lemon rind, grated 1 x tsp (2.0g)
  • 30.5 g Lemon juice, raw 1 x fl oz (30.5g)
  • 25 g Onions, spring or scallions .. 1 x large (25g)
  • 0.4 g Salt, table 1 x dash (0.4g)
  • 6.9 g Spices, pepper, black 1 x tbsp, ground (6.9g)
  • 1 g Oil, olive, salad or cooking
  • 73 g Avocados, raw, all commercial .. 0.5 x cup, sliced (146g)
  • 1 g PACE, Jalapenos Nacho Sliced ..
  • 28 g Crackers, whole-wheat 1 x serving (28g)
  • 1 g sesame seeds

Instructions

  • Wash and pat tuna with kitchen towel, cut into ¼ inch dice and place in a medium size bowl.
  • Take another small bowl to combine oil, lemon zest, lemon juice, wasabi, soy sauce, Tabasco, salt and pepper.
  • Pour the spice mixture on the tuna dices; add scallion and jalapeño. Mix all the ingredients.
  • Peel and cut the avocado in small pieces and mix with tuna mixture.
  • Add toasted sesame seeds, cover the bowl with foil and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. The tuna will soak the flavors during this time.
  • To serve – lay crackers on a serving dish and spoon the tuna mixture on them.
