Ingredients for serving

  • 118 g Chicken, broilers or fryers, .. 1 x breast bone and skin r (118g)
  • 25 g Cheese, parmesan, dry grated, .. 0.25 x cup (100g)
  • 13.5 g Bread crumbs, dry, grated, plain 0.13 x cup (108g)
  • 12.5 g Egg, whole, raw, fresh 0.25 x large (50g)
  • 0.3 g Spices, oregano, dried 0.25 x tsp, leaves (1g)
  • 32 g Sauce, pasta, .. 0.25 x serving 1/2 cup (128g)
  • 28.3 g Cheese, mozzarella, nonfat 0.25 x cup, shredded (113g)
  • 6.5 g Oil, olive, salad or cooking 0.5 x tablespoon (13.5g)

Instructions

  • In a bowl, beat egg and a little salt.
  • Combine breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese and oregano in a bowl.
  • Dip the chicken into the egg mixture, then coat with the breadcrumbs.
  • Warm oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add the chicken and cook about 3 minutes per side, until golden brown.
  • Spoon 1 tbsp sauce over each piece of chicken and top each with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  • Bake until cheese is melted.
