Turkey Taquitos

Ingredients for serving

  • 84 g Ground turkey, 93% lean, 7% fat,.. 3 x oz (28.35g)
  • 72 g Sauce, salsa, ready-to-serve 2 x tbsp (36g)
  • 33 g Bush's Best, Black Beans 0.25 x 1/2 cup (130g)
  • 2 g Garlic, raw 1 x tsp (2.8g)
  • 1 g Spices, chili powder 0.25 x tsp (2.7g)
  • 0 g Spices, pepper, red or cayenne 0.13 x tsp (1.8g)
  • 62 g La Tortilla Factory Low Carb .. 1 x 1 Large Tortilla (62g)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400 F.
  • Sautee your ground turkey, garlic, chili powder, and cayenne pepper in a pan sprayed with nonstick spray.
  • When the turkey is almost finished, stir in the black beans and salsa.
  • Cut the tortilla into 4 equally sized wedges. Distribute the turkey mixture amongst the 4 pieces. Roll each up, using a toothpick to hold them together.
  • Place the 4 taquitos on a baking sheet sprayed with nonstick spray. Bake at 400F for 15-17 minutes, or until crispy. This will change a bit depending on what kind of tortilla you use.
  • Remove the toothpicks. Serve with plain greek yogurt and avocado. More salsa would also be a great pair!
