Ingredients for serving

  • 33 g chipotle chiles in adobo sauce 0.17 x 1 can (7 oz)
  • 71 g Tomatoes, crushed, canned 2.5 x ounce (oz)
  • 14.7 g Lime juice, raw 0.33 x lime yields (1.5 oz)
  • 55.2 g Onions, sweet, raw 0.17 x onion (11.7 oz)
  • 4.5 g Garlic, raw 0.5 x cloves (0.3 oz)
  • 151.5 g Beef, chuck eye roast, boneless,.. 5.33 x ounce (oz)

Instructions

  • In a blender or food processor, puree chipotle chiles with adobo sauce until smooth. Spoon 2 1/2 Tbsp. into slow cooker; reserve remainder for other uses. Add tomatoes, lime juice, onion and garlic; stir to combine. Season beef with salt and pepper and add to slow cooker.
