Basil And Shrimp Soup

Ingredients for serving

  • 100 g Crustaceans, shrimp, untreated, .. 1 x unit (100g)
  • 6 g Basil, fresh 1 x cup leaves, whole (6g)
  • 7 g Carrots, raw 1 x strip large (3" long) (7g)
  • 7 g Celery, raw 1 x tbsp (7.5g)
  • 10 g Onions, raw 1 x tbsp chopped (10g)
  • 6 g Onions, spring or scallions .. 1 x tbsp chopped (6g)
  • 3 g Garlic, raw 1 x clove (3g)
  • 4 g Oil, olive, salad or cooking 1 x tsp (4.5g)
  • 2 g Spices, pepper, black 1 x tsp, ground (2.3g)
  • 0 g Salt, table 1 x dash (0.4g)
  • 448 g Water 2 x 1 cup (224g)

Instructions

  • Spray some olive oil in a large pan and sauté onion and garlic until transparent.
  • Add celery, shrimps, spring onion, carrot and sauté 2 minutes.
  • Add water and bring to boil.
  • Let it simmer on low heat for 4-5 minutes.
  • Stir in basil leave black pepper and salt.
  • Adjust the seasoning and boil for 1-2 minutes.
  • Hot basil and shrimps soup is ready to serve.
