Ingredients for serving

  • 85 g Beef, ground, 95% lean meat / 5%.. 1 x serving (3 oz) (85g)
  • 55 g Egg white beaten 1 x piece (55g)
  • 10 g Onions, raw 1 x tbsp chopped (10g)
  • 28 g Cereals, oats, instant, .. 1 x packet (28g)
  • 0 g Salt, table 1 x dash (0.4g)
  • 6 g Spices, pepper, black 1 x tbsp, ground (6.9g)
  • 100 g Whole Wheat Bread 1 x unit (100g)
  • 15 g Lettuce, iceberg (includes .. 1 x leaf, large (15g)

Instructions

  • Combine all the ingredients for patty – oat, egg white, onion, beef, salt and pepper and mix thoroughly.
  • Make patties of desired shape and size.
  • Cook the patties on a griddle pan with some olive oil. Cooking will take 5-6 minutes on both sides on medium heat.
  • You may toss the bun on the same griddle for good results.
  • To assemble the burger – cut a whole wheat burger bun, place the patty on it, top with lettuce leaves and other half of the bun.
