  • 0 g Spices, pepper, black 0.25 x dash (0g)
  • 87.5 g Bob's Red Mill Grits 2.5 x 1/4 cup (35g)
  • 0.3 g Chives, raw 0.25 x tsp chopped (1g)
  • 85 g Ice cubes 1 x piece (85g)
  • 7.1 g Cheese, low fat, cheddar or .. 0.06 x cup, shredded (113g)
  • 50 g Egg, whole, raw, fresh 1 x large (50g)
  • 0 g Oil, PAM cooking spray, original 0.25 x spray , about 1/3 second (1 NLEA serving) (0g)
  • 0.4 g Spices, garlic powder 0.13 x tsp (3g)

Instructions

  • To prepare grits, mix grits, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder and cheddar cheese.
  • To prepare eggs, heat a pan that is lightly coated with cooking spray.
  • Break eggs into the pan. Cover it and cook until the whites are set.
  • Add half portion of ice cubes into the pan and continue to cook until eggs are cooked.
  • Remove the eggs from the pan. Repeat the process with the remaining ice portions and eggs.
  • Serve eggs over grits. Garnish it with little chives and black pepper.
