Ingredients for serving

  • 12.4 g All-Purpose Flour 0.1 x cup (124g)
  • 5.5 g Egg white beaten 0.1 x piece (55g)
  • 4 g Cornmeal, yellow (Navajo) 0.04 x unit (100g)
  • 1 g Plain Butter 0.1 x slice (10g)
  • 0.1 g Leavening agents, baking soda 0.03 x tsp (2g)
  • 0.3 g Leavening agents, baking powder,.. 0.15 x tsp (2g)
  • 0 g Oil, PAM cooking spray, original 0.1 x spray , about 1/3 second (1 NLEA serving) (0g)
  • 1.2 g Sugars, granulated 0.3 x tsp (4g)
  • 24.2 g 1% low fat milk 0.1 x cup (242g)
  • 2 g Molasses 0.1 x serving 1 tbsp (20g)

Instructions

  • In a bowl, add flour, sugar, cornmeal, salt, baking soda and baking powder. Combine the ingredients well.
  • In another bowl, mix egg, molasses, butter and milk. Add this mixture into flour mixture and mix well.
  • Spoon out ΒΌ cup of the above mixture and pour onto a pan that is lightly coated with cooking spray and placed over medium heat.
  • Turn pancakes when the edges look cooked and bubbles start forming at the top.
  • Serve hot.
